Bridal Show This Sunday!

Just a reminder everyone that this Sunday from 12 to 5 is the Michiana Premier Wedding Expo at the beautiful Hilton Garden Inn up at Saint Mary's Campus! Some excellent vendors are going to be there: Music Machine, Allure Films and Photography, Celebrated Events, Girly Girl Gifts, Michaelangelos, Bernardo's and Bernardo's for the Bride, Hitlon Garden Inn, and The Inn At St. Mary's. Stop by their booths and say hi.

Also this should be a spectacular fashion show runway, like none seen in Michiana before. Designed by Cynthia Basker and executed by Michaelangelos it.

If you are getting married in 2009 this is the bridal show to start your wedding planning at!

Michiana Event at Girly Girl Gifts

Girly Girl Gifts, my favorite shop to spend way too much money in has announced their annual Holiday Open House! This year it will be taking place on Friday, November 7, from noon until 8:00 pm, and on Saturday, November 8, from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. On Friday, from 4:00 - 8:00, they will have a trunk show featuring One of a Kind jewelry creations by gifted and delightful designer, Ali Oesch. Also playing bartender again will be Brian from Allure Films and Photography, with free champagne, wine or sodas. Also snacks will be on hand.

Last year was a lot of fun. If nothing else stop by and just say hi. And if you are looking for a photographer for your wedding, ask poor Brian a photo question, all the girly talk got to him last year. Hi Brian. ;-)

Bridal Show In South Bend 10-26-08

If you haven't already done so, ladies, mark your calendars for net Sunday as Michiana's Premier Wedding Expowill be taking place in the beautiful Fleur de Lis Ballroom in the Hilton Garden Inn! The promises to be a really spectacular bridal show. Word is that Michaelangelos and Cynthia Basker have teamed up to create a runway for the fashion show like never seen in Michiana. They are pulling out all the stops.

Also displaying will be some of our favorite wedding professionals, Allure Films and Photography, the Music Machine, Girly Girl Gifts, The Hilton Garden Inn, Bernardo's and Bernardo's for the Bride, among many more. Tell them Michiana Weddings sent you!

Let Them Eat Cake!

I am in the mood for some cake, especially after viewing the gorgeous looking wedding cake and cupcakes pictured below, designed and baked the incomparable Rascia.

Finding a wedding cake designer that not only makes gorgeous looking wedding cakes that also tastes good is some what difficult. In my experience cakes either look great and taste blah or taste great but look eh. From personal experience though I can say that not only do Rascia's confections look like a work of art, but they taste heavenly!
